International shipping with GlobalPost <\/h2>\n\n

The first step to shipping with GlobalPost is scheduling a pickup or dropping off shipments with your carrier of choice. GlobalPost shipments can also be shipped to us directly. Packages are then sent to one of our domestic regional shipping centers for processing. This is why you may see a domestic address as the destination on your label. We\u2019ll also add an international shipping label and customs forms when your package arrives.  <\/p>\n\n

GlobalPost then hands off your package to a postal carrier, such as the USPS. This is where your package will begin its transport. Our network of last-mile carriers offers the best mix of speed and value. That\u2019s what keeps international shipping with GlobalPost affordable. <\/p>\n\n

How to use GlobalPost <\/h2>\n\n

Free international shipping tools <\/h2>\n\n

We provide merchants with the tools to take the guesswork out of international shipping. Between customs forms and duties and taxes, international shipping can get confusing and complicated. For example, attaching incorrect customs forms can lead to delays and return shipments. Additionally, incorrectly paid duties and taxes can delay the customs process. With GlobalPost, you\u2019ll just fill out customs information, and we\u2019ll assign the correct HS codes. You don\u2019t even need to print out the customs forms. GlobalPost also provides free tools to help with duties and taxes and Harmonized (HS) codes<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

Duties and taxes calculator <\/h3>\n\n

Duties and taxes are fees added to a package when you ship to a different country. These fees are determined by factors like the items being shipped, the value of the merchandise, and their destination country. Harmonized (HS) Code Lookup Tool <\/h3>\n\n

HS codes are universal six-digit codes given to products to help customs offices identify what you\u2019re shipping. This helps to bypass language barriers and move shipments through customs with ease. Don\u2019t worry, we\u2019ll add the HS codes based on the product description in your customs declaration. Tracking GlobalPost shipments <\/h2>\n\n

GlobalPost determines the best route to each package\u2019s final destination throughout every step of transit. We use over 250 parameters to track your shipments in real time for a positive international shipping experience. <\/p>\n\n

All three services include tracking, but the amount of tracking varies. For example, GlobalPost International Economy offers door-to-country tracking. However, GlobalPost International Standard and GlobalPost Plus offer door-to-door tracking. How do these options differ? <\/p>\n\n

GlobalPost tracking options <\/h3>\n\n

Door-to-country tracking is when tracking information updates until the shipment leaves US customs. In contrast, door-to-door tracking provides real-time shipping updates from pickup to delivery. The good news is, that you can track shipments on our website<\/a> by entering the tracking number. Up to 35 tracking numbers can be entered at a time, separated by a space in between. <\/p>\n\n

International Coverage with GlobalPost <\/h2>\n\n

GlobalPost International Standard shipments include $100 in coverage plus the shipping cost. Alternatively, GlobalPost Plus shipments include $200 in coverage plus the shipping cost. You can also buy supplemental coverage for shipments. However, the amount of coverage can\u2019t be more than the total value of your package. <\/p>\n\n
